Our Prices (some maybe negotiable) include in the advertised price
1. The €3,000 rental agreement changeover fee.
2. The rent will be paid for the current period (usually to 30th December).
3. Our fees will be paid by the owner.
4. All outstanding accounts on the plot will be cleared at the time of the changeover.
The purchase of a Caravan or Mobile Home through Sunseekers is safe, secure and very simple. You do not need a solicitor to complete the paperwork, but you can use one if you wish.
Once you have chosen your ideal property, a price is agreed with the owners and a sales contract signed. Some of the advertised prices are negotiable. The contract confirms the names and addresses of all parties and the agreed amounts and dates for payment documented. Full terms and conditions of sale are included which safeguards you and the seller.
The initial deposit is paid to us. It can be paid in cash to us on your inspection visit, or by Internet payment or cheque or cash into our English bank account. We have used this account safely for this purpose for a number of years and it is regularly checked by the authorities so it is a secure way of paying. Payment of the balance can be completed the same way into this account.
The normal first deposit to be paid is £1,000. This deposit is non refundable. A further deposit will be required if the final payment is going to be delayed for a significant length of time. Once the initial deposit has cleared, the property is taken off the market. Each property has different circumstances for selling, but the majority are for immediate occupation. When the payment of the full balance has cleared and any rental agreement changeover has been completed, you can move into your property.
Our prices are fully inclusive of the changeover fee of 3,000 euro’s which has to be paid when the name on the rental agreement is changed from the current owner to the new owner’s name. Caravans which are being sold privately do not always include this and may only become apparent when you go to the office to register and find this additional payment has to be paid.
Our prices also include the rent to the end of the current rental period. The majority are paid to the 30th December, but may on occasions cover the first six months of the year. You will be advised which date applies before purchase.
Signed inventories can be completed on purchase if required but we have recently started completing photographed inventories. This will help you to find what items (like bedding or kettle)to bring with you on your first visit and you will have a written list (or photos) you can check on arrival. It is far better than the word of mouth promise which is sometimes given when you purchase privately, as that promise can easily be broken.
