Welcome to all - We hope you like the new layout of our website as this is now easier for us to keep you up to date with sales, price changes and new properties. This will give a better service for all clients, which is all we have ever wished to do. I noticed one rival website has a caravan for sale which we sold in November 2008, with all the contact details still posted for the previous owner. Ours is regularly updated, so all are available properties as far as possible.
Despite all the recent delays getting over here, there are still visitors coming over to view caravans on Villamar. With the rents now paid on most, there are some bargains to be found. The rent was the same as last year at €4,172 for the year and with the rate of exchange better on January the first than last year, the rent is slightly lower in real terms. With the rate now touching 1.20 or more on a regular basis, things are looking a little better for potential buyers.
Owners have found 2009 a hard year financially as everyone has all over the world, and unfortunately some have had to sell for that reason, which is sad as that is what they may have strived for, for all their working life. Not all are selling because of the recession, some are because they have been here since the opening in 2002 and now want a change of scene. People move in England for the same reason so don’t think there is anything going drastically wrong because there are a number for sale. A large percentage of the caravans available for sale are marketed through our website, and at the moment there are fewer for sale than last year.
Caravans are available to be purchased privately, but many people prefer to sell theirs through us because they know we will handle the sale in a proper manner. We have been completing sales for six years and as one client commented “The best recommendation you have, is the fact that most people still come to you to sell after all this time”. No one would come to us if they thought we were giving bad service. Any new owner moving in having purchased through us, will know that all the items they saw at the time of purchase are still there when they move in, they will know the legal changeover paperwork has been completed, that there are no outstanding bills on the property, and many more things that can go wrong in a private sale, are not found when dealing with us. We cut down the risk of you getting caught as we know people have in the past and are still even now. Just before Christmas someone moved into their new property and found the previous owner had not completed the changeover for them as they promised. They had to then pay the €3,000 fee as the seller was now long gone, and also had to buy a new flat screen TV which had disappeared along with other items that should have been there. This would not have happened if they had purchased through us.
If you are thinking of purchasing and want to have a look around, book your flights and accommodation, and then email us or give us a ring, and we will make an appointment to view some. We have three at the moment which are for sale, but the owners do not want them put on the internet or have a sign in their window. If you come over and wander around, you will not know these are available and one of these could be the one you want. We recently sold one which was not advertised anywhere, to the next door neighbour. They only knew it was for sale because they saw us showing another client around the property.
We can pick you up from your hotel or from anywhere in the local area and bring you along to Villamar to have a look round, so do give us a ring before you arrive in Benidorm or take our number and ring when you are here. We can then guarantee we will be able to give you a proper conducted tour and will allow plenty of time to do it. The owners of all the caravans on our website, have given us the keys and the permission to show interested parties around their property, and we do have full knowledge about each one. Having been on this site since the opening in October 2002, we do have the experience to show you most of the pitfalls that you should watch out for and will be able to guide you to particular properties that will be suitable for your particular circumstances.
